The Future of Food

Here’s a link to a blog post about the 3D food printers that are planned to launch later this year. This seemed super interesting to me, with all of the new developments in food science. Apparently, these printers are going to be able to convert a liquified food substance into cool geometric food shapes. But, when will we be able to print a full meal with warm and familiar ingredients? What about printing with raw meat? I wonder about the need for this printer, and whether or not this printer can solve issues like world hunger for the impoverished.
